InstincT - A concept Project

Communication is a gift—an essential force for progress and survival.

Now, let's explore a unique mystery: the 6th sense. Do you believe in it? I do! It’s the collective power of all five senses—intuition or instinct. Everyone has it. You sense when your pet is unwell or when your partner is upset, even from afar. Instinct is a gut feeling, arriving unannounced but rooted in the assimilation of all your senses. It’s the essence of your existence, unified into one strength—INSTINCT.

Imagine five strangers, each embodying a single sense, connected by a hidden force. Through their individual tattoos, I aim to reveal the 6th sense that binds them.

'I' am the hidden element in each piece. I incept this, I imbibe it, I visualize it, I render it and I execute it. I bind the five senses together. I'm the point of origin. I'm the 6th sense.

CONCRESCENCE

This is a very unique project in terms of designing.I was asked to to do this couple tattoo where in both the tattoos could fuse to become one. I'd never ventured into such an avenue before which made the challenge even more interesting
The entire tattoo is broken into two smaller tattoos 'The writer' and 'The artist'.Both these tattoos fuse together if followed by the script that is incorporated in both the tattoos.

"The crescent shawl wain in the shadows and illuminate the starlit night" (on the writer Sreeraj)

"The moonlight shall lead the concrescent path and the artist shall learn to write" (on the artist dakshina)

These verses point to the one coinciding point in both the designs which when overlapped fuses both the tattoos. This concrescent point is the moon that has half and half present on each pieces. This moon being the moon of the night these guys started dating. I've used the moon calendar for that entire month and let this particular moon of the 22nd day incomplete on both pieces one-half on Sreeraj and one half on the Dakshina

Miłość

Miłość means "love" in Polish.

This project is based on the work of a Polish photographer called Anna O. The photographer uses herself as a muse and clicks mesmerizing pictures with some floral or foliar help.

I came across this picture of hers titled 'All my limbs can become trees'. It has my 2 most favorite subjects as an artist : hands and plants. I instantly fell in love with this picture. I've been moved by it so much that Ive drawn it and written after it. Finally I wanted to eternalise it hence the idea of a tattoo project. I curated a muse for this project carefully, someone who understood the depth and meaning of this kind of work. The video describes furthermore
